I got a little emotional at the end of my set. Been emotional all day. Just a rush of excitement, thinking about lost loved ones, everything collided all at once.
I’ve been doing comedy for 6.5 years. And in that time, I’ve done so many cool things. I’ve got to work with some of the best comedians on the planet! I’ve also listened to some incredible stories from audience members that have moved me to tears. I love performing. I see it as my service to others because comedy heals and helps make crappy days better. Comedy is magical shit! Tonight was all of that magic and then some.
I cannot thank Mr. Ridley and everyone @comedycastlemi for all of their support and friendship over the years. It’s been humbling and I’m so very thankful for everything you’ve done for me. If I never work your stage again, tonight would be an incredible last show.
Congrats on hitting 40 years and I am grateful I was a part of the celebration.
